Content Notice, Takedown, and Appeals Policy

How notices, takedown requests, and appeals can be submitted to RentTrust and how those requests may be reviewed.

Effective date: 25 April 2026

Last updated: 25 April 2026

RentTrust allows users to submit reviews, reports, issue tags, and supporting evidence related to rental listings and rental interactions. If you believe content on RentTrust is unlawful, inaccurate, wrongly matched, privacy-invasive, or otherwise objectionable, you may submit a notice to us.

1. How to submit a notice

Please send notices to: senersinan35@gmail.com

You may also use the designated request channel at /notice.

Your notice should include:

  • the URL, identifier, or screenshot of the content;
  • the reason for the complaint;
  • an explanation of why the content should be reviewed, restricted, corrected, or removed;
  • any supporting documentation or context;
  • your contact details;
  • a statement that the notice is submitted in good faith.

2. What happens after a notice is received

Each notice will be assigned a tracking reference ID.

RentTrust will review valid notices within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 48 hours where feasible.

We may request additional information to verify the claim before taking action.

RentTrust may:

  • review the notice;
  • request additional information;
  • temporarily restrict visibility;
  • correct or unlink a listing association;
  • redact content;
  • remove content;
  • maintain content where justified;
  • document the reason for its decision.

Users who submitted the original content may be notified and given an opportunity to respond, where appropriate.

RentTrust reserves the right to take interim action, including temporary restriction or delayed visibility, while a review is ongoing.

3. Appeals

If you are affected by a moderation or takedown decision, you may request an internal review by contacting senersinan35@gmail.com.

Appeals should include:

  • the relevant content identifier;
  • the reason you believe the decision was incorrect;
  • any supporting context or documentation.

4. No guarantee of removal

Submission of a notice does not automatically result in removal or restriction. RentTrust will assess notices in light of applicable law, platform integrity, privacy, evidence quality, matching confidence, and fairness.

5. Abuse of notice procedures

RentTrust may reject or deprioritise notices that appear abusive, clearly unfounded, fraudulent, or part of an attempt to manipulate the platform.
